Two playdates in one day!

My last post was about our DSFN playdate last Friday, but we also had another park playdate that same day in the afternoon. This playdate was with some of my high school friends and their kids. I am so thankful to have kept in touch with them. We have such a great time at playdates and girls nights out. I can't believe we have been out of HS now for over 10 years and we are now out numbered by our kids! There are 9 of us and we have 12 kids! Six of us were able to meet at the park Friday along with our 10 kids!

Park Playdate

The clouds, record low temps and rain didn't stop us from having a great DSFN park playdate this morning. We actually had an awesome turnout despite the gloomy weather! I also remembered to pack my camera!! So, I got some great pictures of all the kids that showed up. Seven families came to the park to play!

I met Erin for the first time in Boston at the NDSC Convention, but she lives just a half hour away in Green Bay.

DSFN Playdate

Happy 19 Months Logan!
Today, we met some of our DSFN friends for our monthly playdate. Logan had a great time and it was fun to watch the kids all playing together. They are all mobile now and I can't wait to see what they are like when they can all walk and run around together!

Ruby
Aaron, Ruby and Logan. It is so exciting to see them all standing and cruising around the table!! They are growing up so fast! Ruby and Logan are almost exactly the same age (4 days apart) and Aaron is 4 months younger.
Lilja is going to be 3 in January.

We are off to Milwaukee tomorrow for Logan's hearing test. It looks like he is almost over his cold and the Pulmicort nebulizer treatments seem to have stopped the cold from getting worse to the point of needed any other treatment. I was skeptical of the drug at first because breathing treatments have always seemed to make him worse, but this is different than albuterol and looks like it may work to maintain is health from getting really bad when he gets sick. If it keeps him out of the hospital we will definitely continue to use it.

Today, we got to visit Baby Micah! Micah is going to be 3 months old this weekend and is awaiting heart surgery that will probably take place in May. He was born with an extra chromosone just like Logan. Devin had a great time playing with Micah's older brother, Nathan.

Playdate

Yesterday, Devin, Logan and I had a play date with the Down Syndrome Family Network. Ruby was full of smiles for me! She is so adorable! We also finally got to meet new baby Aaron. He was so tiny and precious. I have already forgotten that Logan was that tiny only months ago. Aaron is doing really well. He is three weeks old now and wasn't due until the 20th of this month (October!!).
