Mother's Day Pictures

I also found these mother's day pictures that I haven't blogged yet. Better late than never!
Here's where Logan's love of tractors started!

Dale's parents have this great spot for pictures in their backyard! My father-in-law built this awesome bridge! I had fun experimenting with some images!

Mom's New Toy

Mommy got a new toy! I am embarrassed to say how many pictures I took today (I'll just say hundreds), but after some practice and editing, I narrowed it down to around 30. I was very much in need of a new camera, so when Dale asked me what I wanted for my birthday, I knew just what to ask for. My old one is ok, but I needed a mega pixel upgrade. Now, I feel like I can take pictures of my kids the way I see them and it's one of my favorite things to do!

Picture Time Again!

I feel like it is always milestone time around here! Always time for more pictures. Devin will be FOUR next week, so he went in for 4 yr pictures and I took Aubrey in for the first time for her 3 month pictures. Enjoy!

Four year olds are great for pictures! He smiled and posed all on his own...it was so easy!
(Note: the trombone is his, the one that he got for Christmas, his most cherished possession)

Christmas Picture Adventure

Yesterday, I took the kids to get their picture taken for our Christmas card. (I gave up trying to take it myself) I didn't have big expectations for the picture, because I knew just what was going to happen, and I was right. Logan didn't like strange people telling him to smile so he looked mad and crawled away. Devin wouldn't sit still and was more concerned about how everything worked. Aubrey cried when I put her down. I held out hope for a miracle picture, but we did leave with Christmas cards and that's all I wanted. At one point, the photographer had me get in the picture and the kids did a little better but I didn't want to be on the Christmas card without Dale. Here are a couple of the pictures. I will share the Christmas card later. We never did get a picture of the three of them together, but we put a couple of pictures together to make the card.
(I didn't order any prints yet, so these are taken from their website, that's why they have the logo over them)

"Are we done yet?" He's a little frazzled from us pulling him back into the shot, can you tell??

I love this Logie expression!! I don't remember this, but they caught him.

Wow! We were all looking at the camera! I would like to cut my head off this one and then it would be the only one we got of the three of them.

The last few days in pictures...

70s in November! I never thought we would still be enjoying the outdoors at this time of the year! Logan still LOVES his swing. I think I should have my Dad move it inside for the winter.

It is really a hard thing to take pictures of all three kiddos together! Here, Logan did not want to participate. Now that he is more mobile, we are starting to see that he does have a mind of his own. He also is starting to arch his back and resist things he doesn't want to do. I remember Devin doing that at 1...things could get real interesting around here really fast.

Devin is such a lover! He always loved kissing Logan, now he is sharing his love with Aubrey. I don't think she knows what to think about it! (hence the face) She will just have to get used to it.

She is changing fast...here come the chubby cheeks!

Pictures in honor of DS awareness month

A friend of Logan's friend Ruby's Mom (that's confusing) offered to take pictures of Ruby and her friends in honor of Down syndrome awareness month. The photographer, Amber, has a photography blog where you can view a few of the many wonderful pictures she took yesterday. The other two friends in the photos are Aaron and Hendrick. We had a great time and it was nice to spend some time with these great families. It has been a while since I have been able to attend our DSFN playdates, but I hope to start attending again soon!

Here's a sample of the pictures she took!
